Junior Achievement Tajikstan is non-profit public association specializing in developing economic programs for youth. This organization was officially registered on April 1999 in Tajikistan. The purpose of the program founded in USA is developing collaboration between education and business that allows youth to understand the significant advantages of free market economy and its impact on their future.
Junior Achievement Tajikistan renders assistance to the future leader generation of business, generation of people making decisions, understand mechanisms of market economy.
Junior Achievement Tajikistan uses a unique method of teaching by involving businessman working in different areas in the process of teaching and using their practical experiences.
Junior Achievement Tajikistan is a member of international non-profit organization «Junior Achievement Worldwide.
The mission of Junior Achievement Tajikistan is to educate and inspire young people to value free enterprise understand business and economics in order to improve the quality of their lives.
The main goals of Junior Achievement Tajikistan’s operation are:
- Improving economic knowledge of youth through providing them quality economic education and support.
- Introducing them with main concepts and free market economy and fostering spirit of entrepreneurship among young generation.
- Promoting economic development by helping young people to learn about business and basics of free market economy
- Prepare future workforce in economic sphere.
- Enhancing economic literacy of young people and motivating them to own business in order to reduce poverty as an important strategic goal of Millennium Development Goals.
In order to reach aforementioned goals Junior Achievement Tajikistan fulfills the following objectives:
In cooperation with Ministry of Education of Republic Tajikistan translate, adapt and publish books in Tajik language and extend them at secondary schools.
- Conducts yearly “Youth economic summer camp”, competitions and Olympiads on Economics, MESE (Management Economic Simulation Exercise), essay contest on Global Business Ethics, at schools on republican level.
- Train teachers of economics with unique method of JA “Economics” teaching.
- Collaborate with other international organizations, NGOs, public association, educational departments of executive branch and individual businessman to provide sustainable development of organization.
- Conducts trainings on “JA Economics”, “Business Planning” and “Loan management”.
- Organize different kinds of clubs “English club and Young Entrepreneurs Club”
