JA Economics

This is one of the best Junior Achievement programs that helps young people master fundamentals of market economy, gives them opportunity to learn about macro and micro economics. Students will have an opportunity to improve their knowledge on basic economic laws, supply and demand laws, economic institutions and the role of private sector for economic prosperity. Students enhance not only their economic literacy, but also acquire necessary skills like applying information, classifying, critical thinking, decision-making, giving reports, graphing, interpreting data, math computation, reading, research etc. The program of JA economics was adapted in Tajikistan and students benefit by learning about forms of property, economic systems and forms of entrepreneurship in Tajikistan. The program enables students apply their knowledge in practice, though applied economic problems students evaluate the level of economic thinking and their roles in economic process of a country.

The book of JA economics from original language (English) was translated into Tajik language. The book of JA Economics was recognized as the best book of economics for schoolchildren of secondary schools by the experts of Centre of Strategic Research before the President of the Republic of Tajikistan. Ministry of Education of the Republic of Tajikistan recommended this book as an economic subject at secondary schools and it found its recognition among schoolchildren. Young people are the future of every country and they need to contribute themselves in developing the economy of a country. In order to contribute in economic development, at first they need to have sufficient economic knowledge.
