Global Business Ethics

The “Global Business Ethics” program is a universal program of Junior Achievement Worldwide teaching students basics of business ethics. In this program students have a chance of enhancing their ethical consciousness and develop set of ethics in business. In a diverse world of business, success in business is impossible unless we abide by generally recognized ethical norms in business.

Program Goals

Students will be able to:

• Explain basic concepts in ethics and present a model for making ethical decisions.
• Define fundamental ethics terms.
• Express the connection between business ethics and future success.
• Discuss the connection between issues in business ethics and present-day school situations.
• Recognize the ethical challenges businesses face and these same types of challenges in school environment.
• Apply conceptual frameworks to real issues.
• Identify resources available to help respond to ethical challenges.

After the successful completion of the program students acquire the following skills:

• Global communication
• Conflict solution
• Interaction
• Making decisions.
• Critical thinking
• Analysis of ethical dilemmas.

Also, students foster a bond of amity with various cultural backgrounds through communicating effectively and exchanging information in GBE site. This program is successfully implementing in Tajikistan and Tajik young people alongside with their knowledge on business and entrepreneurship also, making progressive steps in boosting their ethical literacy.
